Cover Story

Soaring With Sonex

A little yellow slot car with wings. That's how one visitor to Sonex engineer Pete Buck's hangar described the company's Xenos motorglider. That's a strange thing to say about an airplane with a 45-foot winspan and a length of 19 feet 9 inches. But on closer inspection (and following a flight in the new design). I think that visitor may well have captured its spirit.
