Cover Story
You may have noticed how sports cars evolve. First in the family comes the aggressive, sporty two-seater--pure of intent and, probably, a bit flawed for day-to-day use. (But, oh what fun!) It's followed some years later by a boulevard version with more room and creature comforts--and that extra weight takes a significant toll on performance. Hard-core sportiness evolves into sportiness with comfort, and the fire in your hair burns out. It's called maturity. So it is with the slightly smaller, aerobatic Europa and its descendant, the Liberty.
