Nothing beats being able to fly out of your own backyard.
Much as the exotic-sounding name might suggest, the Canadian Home Rotors (CHR) Safari kit helicopter has garnered a phalanx of fans around the globe. An outgrowth of Harold "Pop" Emigh's single-seat Helicom, the Safari has undergone continuous testing, refining and modification since its entree to the Experimental helicopter scene (such as it was) in the 1960s.
