Big Bird On The Block
The new Ravin 500 kit does the Piper Comanche one better.
Cruising inbound for the approach to Runway 17 at Palm Beach County Everglades Airport, so much about the Ravin 500 felt familiar: the view through the windshield, the shape of the panel, the cabin space and a large portion of the handling. Familiar to what? These were the characteristics well and longingly remembered from flying a Piper Comanche for eight years and nearly 1400 hours.
