John Deneke has found a way to build his own airplane despite losing the use of his legs.
By Bob Fritz
John Deneke is a guy who sees an inability as just something to overcome during a build. Too short to reach a light bulb? Get a ladder. Engine too high to reach? Leave the wheels off till last. Simple.
The overhead chain-hoists allow Deneke to easily pull the engine and, when alls complete, lift the entire aircraft for installation of that maingear leaning against the back windows. The yellow sheets on the windows are protection from the neighbor kids who like to look over the fence.
