Aircraft Spruce Acquires A.E.R.O. In Stock

Aircraft Spruce will complete the acquisition of A.E.R.O. In Stock, a distributor of airframe and engine parts for general aviation on September 17. With AERO In Stock’s large customer base, regional distribution warehouses, and new product lines, the merger will allow Aircraft Spruce to better serve its customers, says Jim Irwin, President of Aircraft Spruce and Specialty (ACS).

The AERO In Stock website will now redirect to aircraftspruce.com so customers can easily shop for the same products they received from AERO at Aircraft Spruce. The ACS team has set up cross references to ensure it is easy to find an AERO part # on the Aircraft Spruce website. The APS Black Steel wheel and brake product line will be added to the Aircraft Spruce inventory and the company anticipates this will be very popular with our customers.

In addition, Aircraft Spruce will take over the operation of AERO in Wasilla, AK, giving Aircraft Spruce a presence in this market for the first time in company history. Contact Aircraft Spruce if you have any questions about how orders to Alaska will be fulfilled.

The AERO In Stock branches in Granite City, Illinois and Bath, Pennsylvania will be closed and orders will ship from the ACS Peachtree City, GA warehouse, which is 2-days via ground transit to most areas in the Midwest and northeast.
