Reiff Lorenz bought a Velocity XL-RG kit in 2011, but he actually started the project in 2009 and spent just $52 in the first two years (reserving a registration number and subscribing to KITPLANES®). His wife, Melissa, spends weekends cutting fiberglass and dreaming of vacations in Florida with her three dogs.
