Kitplanes Editor in Chief and Former NASA Flight Director to Speak at EAA Museum

Before Paul Dye signed on as the Editor in Chief of Kitplanes Magazine, he was longest-tenured flight director in NASA history.

As part of the EAA Aviation Museum’s Aviation Adventure Speaker Series, Paul will be presenting about his career and aviation experiences on Thursday, April 19. His entire life has revolved around flight – from building and flying models in grade school, rebuilding old Cubs and earning a pilot certificate at 17, to a degree in aeronautical engineering and a distinguished career at NASA. And if that was not enough, he flies an RV-8 that he built, an RV-3 that he built with his pilot wife, as well as a Dream Tundra they completed. Currently, they are building a Xenos motorglider. A commercially licensed pilot, he has logged over 5000 hours in many different types of aircraft and is an A&P, EAA Tech Counselor, and Flight Advisor, as well as a member of the Homebuilder’s Council.

Read EAA’s introduction for the presentation and join the presentation on April 19, 2018, 7:00 p.m.
