KITPLANES caught up with Continental Aerospace Technologies’ CEO Karen Hong at AirVenture 2022. She told us that the company has increased its R&D budget for the coming year by 250% and that it is tasking internal teams and outside suppliers to help reduce lead times. An announcement is expected after August on what those new lead times for Titan and Prime engines will be.
