Planning to fly to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025? Be sure to download the updated Oshkosh Notice (commonly known as the NOTAM), which outlines FAA-approved arrival and departure procedures for this year’s fly-in, set for July 21–27 at Wittman Regional Airport.

The 2025 Notice is effective from noon CDT on Thursday, July 17, through noon CDT on Monday, July 28, and applies to aircraft arriving at both Oshkosh and surrounding airports. Developed with input from pilots and FAA evaluations, the document is essential for safe and efficient operations during the event.Download the Oshkosh 2025 NOTAM

What’s New for 2025

Updates in this year’s Notice include:

  • Maintain 90 knots until entering downwind at Oshkosh
  • New graphic depiction of the gravel pit descent point for Runway 27 arrivals
  • A QR code on the cover linking directly to EAA’s “Flying In” webpage
  • Expanded references to the mass arrival schedule, transient helicopter operations, and the EAA Seaplane Base

Also returning for 2025: ATC-assignable transition points west of Oshkosh—Endeavor Bridge, Puckaway Lake, and Green Lake—which will be activated during peak arrival times to reduce holding and congestion. Pilots should listen to the arrival ATIS for activation announcements.

“The most essential information for any pilot flying to Oshkosh involves reading and thoroughly understanding the 2025 AirVenture Notice to ensure safe operations on arrival and departure,” said Sean Elliott, EAA’s vice president of advocacy and safety. “We urge all pilots to adequately prepare and consider reviewing our AirVenture arrival flight resources to boost proficiency and confidence.”
