The popular RANS S-20 came to Sun ‘n Fun this year with a new engine, the Titan 340, which makes 180 hp. The S-20 with a Rotax 912 was never known for being light on power, so you can imagine how it jumps off the ground with all that extra thrust. Climbs are spectacular.
This particular S-20 has the all-metal wings off the new S-21, which improves speed but adds about 20 pounds.
The standard S-20 kit is available for $27,500, plus firewall forward. A quick build option is available that can get claimed build time down to less than 300 hours.
