Jack Pelton joined the EAA’s Homebuilt community this evening to announce that the popular AirVenture camping pavilion is re-named the Dick Van Grunsven Homebuilt Camping Pavilion for the founder and CEO of Van’s Aircraft. Attendees agreed that Dick has done more for Homebuilt/kit plane community than anyone over the last 50 years. With over 11,000 RVs flying, his influence is clear and the audience was appreciative.
