Kitplanes magazine is pleased to announce that we have become the newest member of the Aircraft Kit Industry Association. AKIA was formed in 2012 to represent aircraft kit manufacturers, designers, suppliers and supporters and is dedicated to the promotion and safety of the Aircraft Kit Industry. Kitplanes is proud to join with the leaders of the kit aircraft industry in spreading the word on topics relating to our passion for flying and building experimental aircraft. As Editor in Chief, I am looking forward to working with the members of AKIA as well as our readers – and builders everywhere – to keep our community vibrant and growing so that future generations can enjoy the same level of freedom we have to enjoy our passion of flight.
