Aircraft Specialty LLC has introduced a new aftermarket flap handle, designed and manufactured for Experimental aircraft, which fits over a standard toggle switch and installs in less than 15 minutes. The flap handle can be paired with an optional anti-rotation plate 1.75 inches wide and 1 inch high.
While most toggle switches have a rotating toggle, the anti-rotation plate provides a convenient label on the panel and also prevents the flap handle from rotating at all.
All the components are powder coated and include all necessary installation hardware. Black non-metallic AN screws are provided to match the black set screws.
These handles sell for $34.99; the flap handle and the anti-rotation plate combo together are $69.95. A non-powder-coated, bare aluminum combo is available for $54.95.
