Sonex Aircraft, LLC is excited to announce that the company and its kit aircraft will be featured in an upcoming episode of The Aviators television series. The Sonex segment airs in episode 12 of the show’s third season, which is now available for purchase on iTunes.
The Aviators series boasts some 10 million viewers and can be found on public television stations across the United States, the Travel+Escape network in Canada and in more than 100 other countries worldwide, mainly on Discovery. John Monnett, Sonex founder and president, and CEO Jeremy Monnett are featured in the segment, hosted by Kurtis Arnold.
“I had a blast flying with Kurtis during the filming of the segment,” Jeremy Monnett said. “He was yanking-and-banking the Sonex after just a couple of minutes in the aircraft, his first experience in the type, and we were able to capture for the cameras what flying a Sonex Aircraft is all about.” The episode also features the F-22 Raptor and Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil.
