Zenith Aircraft Company’s “Fly-In To Summer” Open House and Fly-In Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Zenith kit aircraft factory at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ) in Mexico, Missouri. Aviation enthusiasts, especially builders and owners of Zenith Aircraft kit planes, are invited to drive or fly-in for the day for the morning activities.

This will be an informal gathering of Zenith aircraft builders, owners, flyers, and enthusiasts. A workshop and BBQ lunch are planned. This event is a grass-roots fly-in gathering open to all aviation enthusiasts: Owners of completed Zenith Aircraft are encouraged to fly-in for the activities and to show off their completed project to fellow builders. The informal gathering is an excellent opportunity for owners and builders of Zenith Aircraft planes to meet with each other and to tour the Zenith Aircraft kit production facilities.

On the two days prior to the Open House and Fly-In gathering, Zenith is hosting one of its popular factory workshops where participants gain hands-on kit aircraft building experience. (Prior registration is required to attend the workshop).

Zenith Aircraft Company is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2022. Started in 1992 to manufacture and market Chris Heintz (CH-series) designs in the United States, Zenith Aircraft has grown to become the number one brand of light sport aircraft in the U.S. (based on actual FAA registration numbers). The popular all-metal two-seat aircraft are offered in kit form, and manufactured at the modern kit aircraft production facilities in Mexico, Missouri.

Zenith Aircraft Company will also host its 30th anniversary annual Homecoming and Fly-In at the end of the summer, on Friday and Saturday, September 16 & 17, 2022, at the Zenith factory, with two full days of activities planned. Starting Friday morning, a number of seminars and workshops are scheduled, including engine and avionics installation and maintenance seminars, as well as flight demonstrations, hands-on workshops and more.
