Unlabled controlsIt is a requirement that the engine controls are labeled as to their function and operation. In this case, labeling the blue knob “Prop—Push High RPM” and the red knob “Mixture—Push Rich” would be sufficient.

  1. Wonderful! Although I am not yet a pilot I am a certified steam locomotive fireman. In hte average locomotive cab I have 22 valves to operate. I have to know what they supply steam or water to and when to open/close them. Very few are ever labeled; it would be nice if the FRA was as on top of the situation as the FAA is in the labeling aspect of things.
