Beringer has announced at Sun ‘n Fun that they are improving their Aerotec brake sets. The new Aerotec+ has cooling fins cast into the brake pads and more cooling fins machined into the top of the brake caliper. They report that the new design, along with a new aluminum alloy brake disc, will result in 20% more torque and a 15-30% increase in braking kinetic energy. This unit is not currently for sale, but Beringer is showing it at SNF to gauge interest. No suggested price has been given.
