The Dynon Group, which includes Dynon Avionics, Trig Avionics, and Advanced Flight Systems, announced on Tuesday a spate of new product additions corresponding with the launch of the spring aviation season and the beginning of Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland, Florida.

Among the most pertinent new products for homebuilders is the introduction of a stand-alone engine monitor configuration for its popular SkyView HDX avionics system designed for experimental amateur-built (E-AB) and light-sport aircraft (LSA). The new configuration is an engine-focused panel intended for streamlined cockpit operations.

Dynon said that the new engine monitor serves as the most cost-effective entry point into the SkyView HDX system. Scalability is a key benefit, where pilots can upgrade their system in phases and complete their SkyView system in the future.

Pricing for a 7” display configured for Rotax iS engines will begin at $4,909 and $5,771 for Lycoming/Continental 4-cylinder engines.

In addition to the engine monitor release, the company announced an exclusive offer for Sun ‘n Fun attendees. Event goers can enjoy a $100 discount on select Trig products when purchased through dealers at the show. Throughout Sun ‘n Fun, Dynon will be located at Hangar B in booths B018-021 where attendees can check out the new product offerings first hand.
