John Goodman’s Van’s RV-10

I bought the kit at Sun ‘n Fun in 2006. After five years and a month, it finally flew. The paint was done by John Stahr of Artistic Aviation. The panel was done by Aerotronics and consists of a Grand Rapids Technologies HX, Garmin GNS 430W, SL40 and GTX 330, PS 9000EX, Trio Pro Pilot, GRT EIS and Dynon D10A. The engine is a Corvette LS1 with a PSRU from Geared Drives, and the prop is a Hartzell two-blade blended airfoil. The upholstery was done by Flightline Interiors. I’m a first-time builder, and it took 3200 hours start to finish.
