Details about Belite’s featherweight avionic instruments can be reviewed on the company’s web site. Individual instruments weigh a half-ounce each, and the whole panel weighs less than a pound, according to the company. Instruments are available with 1.75-inch square bezels (Part 001), 2.25-inch round bezels (Part 002) or in a 3x2x1-inch enclosure that includes a 9-volt battery (Part 003).
A new avionics panel includes a spot for the company’s Volt MiniMeter, which allows you to keep a constant tab on your voltage while expending little power. Also, the company has introduced a dual CHT and a dual EGT, and also has a new half panel that holds five instruments. The full panel sells for $900, and the half panel sells for $560.
