I bought this plane at 50% of building stage. In Italy a lot of Minimax were flying since the 90s. I modified a lot on the plane: added luggage in the wings, moved the fuel tanks and installed an engine never before installed on a Minimax: Jabiru 2200. I also made new cowlings around the engine, a new system for the canopy made by three modules and new wing tips. I also designed totally new controls for ailerons and elevator.
It flies fantastically and the climb is impressive! My plan is to put it on floats, already built from plywood and fiberglass.
