The new courses are optimized for mobile devices including the iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones. Training progress is conveniently synched to the online course so that users have accurate records no matter which format is used. “The popularity of mobile devices is only increasing, so we want to make our courses accessible to pilots on these devices across both WiFi and 3G/4G networks,” said Sportys Vice President John Zimmerman.
Sportys Mobile Video Courses offer two viewing options: a 3G/4G version streams quickly over wireless data networks, while a WiFi version displays a higher quality format when accessing the courses over WiFi networks. Both versions play in full-screen size.
