Zenith Aircraft Company will host its annual “Fly-In to Summer” Open House and Fly-In at its factory at Mexico Memorial Airport (KMYJ) in Mexico, Missouri, on Saturday morning, June 21st. The Zenith Aircraft factory, where all Zenith airplane kit parts are produced, will be open from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm for self-guided factory tours, demonstrations, and more. Zenith completed a 10,000 sq. ft. expansion last year to its existing factory at Mexico Memorial Airport. Zenith factory demonstrator airplanes will be available for viewing on the ramp in front of the factory, and customer airplanes are also expected to fly-in for the event. There will be coffee available in the morning and hot lunch will be available at the airport (from a local food truck).
Note that the “Fly-In to Summer” event is an informal Open House morning fly-in. The annual Zenith Homecoming event in September is a much larger two-day gathering of Zenith enthusiasts with educational seminars, hands-on workshops, a Zenith Banquet dinner, flying demonstrations and more. This year’s Zenith Homecoming with be the 34th annual event, scheduled on September 19 & 20, 2025.
Zenith hosts monthly hands-on workshop classes at its factory to provide potential builders the opportunity to learn all about building their own kit airplane.
