Radiant Technology recently developed a new carbon monoxide (CO) detector, the Geiger Plus, which provides CO detection for pilots and passengers. The new design is more advanced than their original product, the Geiger CO, which was introduced over two years ago.

The Geiger Plus further increases pilot safety by offering an additional Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) detection feature, which alerts pilots of possible exhaust leaks by detecting the presence of exhaust and gasoline vapor. This new design also features an LED scale that shows the strength of CO and color coding thereof.

Any customer who purchased the original Geiger CO in the last 90 days is qualified to receive a no charge upgrade. The Geiger Plus is available on Radiant’s website, as well as Aircraft Spruce, Gulf Coast Avionics and Pacific Coast Avionics.
