A squadron of sandhill cranes landed at Drane Field today, making them the first mass arrival at Sun ‘n Fun. A rowdy bunch, the cranes refused to follow the approach NOTAM, or even land on the green dot. When Homebuilt Parking volunteers tried to tie them down, they departed the field without clearance.
